Dr. Robin Richardson Ph.D. has resigned as Leader of the Vancouver Island Party

RESIGNATION
November 15, 2019

Dr. Robin Richardson Ph.D. has resigned as Leader of the Vancouver Island Party, effective immediately.

“I am resigning as VIP Leader in order to spend more time with my family and church, to build up my financial / estate planning and economic consulting businesses and to write my memoir book.” said Dr. Richardson.

“I continue to believe that Vancouver Island would be at least 100 times better off as an independent new province of Canada rather than continue as an oft-neglected region of Canada and British Columbia.”

“Vancouver Island has 17% of the population of British Columbia, but receives less than 2% of the monies coming from Ottawa and British Columbia,” observed Dr. Richardson. ‘ISLAND FIRST – PROVINCE NEXT’ should continue to be the main message,” he said.

Members of the Party’s Council extend grateful thanks to both Dr. Richardson and his wife for their unwavering and thoroughly dedicated service (five years to the day) in establishing and leading the Vancouver Island Party.

May the Richardsons fare well in all of their endeavours!
