Vancouver Island Party will be deregistered with Elections BC
IMPORTANT NOTICE! December 23, 2020 Dear Friend: Effective December 31, 2020, the Vancouver Island Party will be deregistered with Elections BC. The Council of the Vancouver Island Party Party regrets having to take this action but has no option due to a lack of sufficient support. The next scheduled provincial election is 4 years away. In the interval, there may be a renewal of enthusiasm to have Vancouver Island become a new province – which it overwhelmingly deserves, considering its population as compared to several Atlantic provinces.
